"Traditional Mexican mercada - not a fancy shop, but you can get all staples. Nice meat selection at butcher counter. My favorite now - you can get hot carnitas or barbacoa meats to go; all you need to buy tortillas, some condiments and you have dinner set. They also offer a large selection of home made salsas like salsa Chile, salsa asada, salsa Verde, etc. Freshly baked Mexican pastries available as well. And as always, piping hot chicken or beef tamales at the counter - definitely worth the stop."
